CHECK IN

Our check in time time is between 3:00pm-6pm. If we have availability you may be able to check in earlier, but we most likely won’t know until the day of check in. A $25 early check in fee may apply if you arrive early without prior approval from management. Late check-ins after 7pm will also incur a $25 fee. We will have to make someone available to check you in, so we will need to know in advance your check in time or to help you make other arrangements. There are no check ins after 9pm. If there is a delay or emergency please let us know asap.

CHECK OUT

Check out is 9:30 am, however we are flexible with this as long as no one else is coming in right after your departure. If there is availability, you may ask for a later check out time and a fee of $25 will be added to your bill. The latest to check out is 11pm as we will need to turnover your cabin for the next guest. The fee will also include using our facilities until 12:00pm. Please check with us first and we will let you know if this is available on your last day with us. Alternatively, you can store your luggage in the rancho area, for you to pick up later in the day, in case you want that one last trip to the beach or if you have a tour that day. Just let us know your plans the night before so we can make sure to accomodate you.

NO SMOKING There is absolutely no smoking on the property. The smoke blows quickly and fills other cabins and our home. It also is absorbed into the wood and linens. You may smoke outside of the property gate alongside the road. The is a $250 fee that will be added to your bill if you smoke in and around your cabin.

PARKING & THE FRONT GATE

There is currently room for 4 cars in the car park and 2 cars parked behind the 2 front cars. If you park behind someone, please leave your car keys in the reception area, we will show you where. We will move the cars around, if need be. You can also park on the road during the day but please bring your car in at night. The front gate is to be kept closed, but not locked during the day. We will lock the gates at 9pm unless we know someone is coming back at a later time. You can open and close the gates as you come and go. Please always close the gate behind you, thank you.

PACIFICA KAI CAFE IN THE RANCHO (For guests only)

BREAKFAST:

Currently we are only serving breakfast for guests only. You can order between 7:00am-9am. What we have available that morning will be posted on the chalk board in the Rancho the night before. If you would like to pre order for a certain time, or if you have an early tour, we can do an earlier breakfast but please let us know the day before. If you have a special meal request please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you.

TOWELS FOR THE POOL & BEACH

There are specific towels for pool and the beach, so please do not use your room towels. The pool towels are located next to the pool shower at the end of the pool. If they have been used at the pool, please take them back to your room and hang them to dry. If you used them at the beach, upon your return, please leave them in the bin next to the pool, so they can be washed. You may also use the pool shower to clean off any sand off your feet, body or beach accessories.

SWIMMING POOL

Please shower off any suntan oils, lotions or sand at the pool shower before using the pool. Pool is open from 7am-7pm daily. We try to maintain the tranquility and zen like nature of the property; we want our guests to be able to enjoy the solitude of silence in the evening before turning in for the night. Unless you have blocked out the entire property for an event, this is the best way to respect every guest during both your stays.

MASSAGE AND YOGA SERVICES

If you would like to book a massage or take a private yoga class during stay with us, please let us know a day in advance so that we may book them for you.

EXCURSIONS

If you would like to book a surf lesson, zip lining tour, Sierpe river tour or any other excursion, please let us know and we will book it for you. There is quite a long list of wonderful excursions in this area so let us know what you are interested in doing and we will gladly book it for you.

HOUSEKEEPING

As an eco lodge, we do try our best to not waste water and so we generally exchange room towels for fresh ones every other day. On stays of 1-3 days, we generally do not change the bed linens. However if your stay is longer we change the bed linens on every 4th day. Please let us know if you prefer the linens changed sooner or if you need more towels during your stay.

ROOM MAINTENANCE

Please advise us if there are any problems in your room, such as broken light bulbs, wifi issues, no hot water in the shower, shower not draining properly, clogged toilets etc. Please remove trash from the balcony area before turning in for the night. You may place it closed up in your room or bring it up to the rancho for disposal in our trash bin. Please rinse all dishes and plates before leaving the cabin and seal all food properly. Please close the balcony curtains before you leave for the day, in case of rain.
